Vivo has launched its latest smartphones, the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro, designed to offer cutting-edge features and sleek design to consumers. The Vivo S19 boasts a powerful processor, stunning display, and advanced camera capabilities, making it ideal for everyday use and photography enthusiasts alike. Meanwhile, the Vivo S19 Pro takes these features to the next level with enhanced performance, superior camera technology, and additional premium features. Vivo has launched the Vivo S19 series in China, equipping them with higher-density batteries and 80W fast charging. The Vivo S19 series has debuted in China and consists of two phones namely Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro. They have a few more commonalities in addition to 80W rapid charging. Both include a front-facing 50MP sensor. The rear main camera is also 50 megapixels but the sensor is different. They have a few other notable differences that result in a CNY 800 difference in their starting price. Let us discuss some key highlights of smartphones. Vivo S19 Pro is the first smartphone with a Sony IMX921 sensor. The brand has used Blue Ocean tech to increase the capacity of the battery in its phones. Vivo used the same set of chipsets as its predecessor.

Price and sale details of Vivo S19, S19 Pro

For the 8+256GB model, the Vivo S19 starts at CNY 2,500 (roughly Rs 28,797.04) while the Vivo S19 Pro starts at CNY 3,300 (roughly Rs 38,012.09). The base variant of the Vivo S19 comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Select any of the sizes for ideal LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 storage. It is currently available in China via the Vivo website and partner stores. The Vivo S19 sells in Grey, Peach, and Light Blue. The Pro model can be purchased in Grey, Green, and Light Blue variants.

Specifications of Vivo S19, S19 Pro

  • The Vivo S19 Pro is a slightly more powerful device but is the smaller of the two as it has a smaller 5,500mAh battery. The vanilla Vivo S19 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery.
  • Vivo revealed that this battery has a higher capacity than conventional batteries thanks to the company’s Blue Ocean tech. They take up less space.
  • Both phones have 80W wired charging support though. Both feature the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nit peak brightness.
  • However, the display on the Pro is curved, while the display on the stock S19 is flat.
  • The Vivo S19 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC in the S19.
  • Another notable difference is in the photography department. While both have a 50MP main camera, the S19 Pro is using Sony’s IMX921 for the first time.
  • Both feature an 8MP ultrawide snapper with Vivo’s anti-shake OIS. Finally, the S19 Pro also features a new 50MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.
  • If you peek at the specs sheet, you’ll notice differences like Bluetooth5.4 compatibility on the S19 (instead of Bluetooth 5.3 on the S19 Pro), IP68 and IP69K water resistance ratings on the S19 Pro while the S19 only has IP64 ingress rating.
