On September 1, Sony will release the Xperia 5 V, according to an announcement teaser.

Regarding the impending Xperia 5 V, Sony has not made any information or technical features public.

With the release of its promotional film, the Sony Xperia 5 V, the rumored successor to the company’s last flagship model, the Sony Xperia 5 IV, has gained some notoriety. This will be the company’s third smartphone launch of the year, following the introduction of the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V.

The Japanese tech giant announced the release date of the Xperia 5 V in a video that was posted on X. As previously said, the smartphone launch is set to begin at 4 PM local time (12.30 PM IST) on September 1. The business hasn’t provided any other information regarding the impending phone’s features or specifications, though.

The smartphone may come in three color options: black, blue, and white, per a prior report. At the back, it is anticipated to have a dual camera system.

According to rumors, the Xperia 5 V will have a matte finish and Sony’s branding on the rear.

Sony unveiled the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V earlier in May of this year. In the European market, the Xperia 1 V debuted with a starting price of $1,399 (about Rs. 1,14,700). Green and Black were the only two color options available when the smartphone first went on sale. In the meantime, the Xperia 10 V model made its debut at a starting price of EUR 449 (approximately Rs. 40,300), and was made accessible in four color options: Black, Lavender, Sage Green, and White.
