Vivo is likely to work on two new mid-range phones – Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro – which will come as successors to the Vivo S18 series. The phones are now certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This comes after the Vivo S19 lineup appeared on China’s 3C platform and featured 80W fast charging support.

Vivo S19, S19 Pro MIIT-certified

  • The MIIT listing reveals the Vivo S19 and S19 Pro models as V2364A and V2362A.
  • The listing doesn’t reveal any hardware specifications but it does mention that there will be 5G and 4G network support.
  • While details of the Android version remain undisclosed, the phones will have the capability to run Android 14 out of the box.
  • Aside from 80W fast charging support not much is known about the phones at the moment.

The Vivo S19 and S19 Pro will be available as successors to the Vivo S18 lineup. The phones were launched in China back in December. Here’s a quick reminder of the specifications.

  • Vivo S18 Pro.Cameras: It features a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, LED flash, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and a 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera.
  • Vivo S18 Camera: The vanilla model comes with a 50MP OmniVision OV50E sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, LED flash, and an 8MP ultra-vid OmniVision OV08D10 sensor.
  • Front Camera: The front features a 50MP shooter with dual soft LED flashes.
  • Connectivity: 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
