Oppo launched the Pad 2 tablet in China in March and the Pad Air 2 in November. It looks like the brand is ready to launch its successor, the Pad 3. The tablet has now appeared in China’s 3C certificate. This reveals the phone’s model number and charging speed information.

The official launch of the OPPO Pad 3 might happen shortly

The Pad 3 has the model number OPD2404, as spotted by China’s 3C-certified MySmartPrice. The listing also confirms that the tablet will come with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. For comparison, the OPPO Pad 2 also comes with the same speed of 67W.

The model number of the charger is VCB7OACH and it supports fast charging speeds of 10W (5V/2A) and 67W (11V/6.1A). The OPPO Pad lineup is a key offering as the previous gen model came with a 2.8K display, MediaTek Dimenensity 9000 SoC, and Dolby Vision, and then there is the Oppo Pad Neo and Pad Air series, which targets mid-budget segments on the snow.

OPPO Pad 3: what we know so far

Tipster DigitalChatStation recently posted some basic specifications of the tablet. According to him, the tablet will come with a 12.1-inch LCD, 144 Hz refresh rate, 900nit peak brightness, and 3K resolution. In contrast, the previous 11.6-inch model came with a 2.5D curved lens.

The tablet is likely to have a 13MP primary camera for selfies and an 8MP front camera. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will reportedly power the Oppo Pad 3, upgrading from the Dimensity 9000 of the Oppo Pad 2. You can pair the chipset with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The tablet can come equipped with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The Pad 3 may be available as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market. Historically, Oppo tablets have been rebranded globally as OnePlus Pads, so the Oppo Pad 3 will likely be available as the OnePlus Pad 2 globally. Oppo Pad 3 maybe but in the second half of 2023.
