The Chinese version of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, known as the Moto X50 Ultra, is scheduled for release on May 16. Recently, observers spotted the handset on TENAA, uncovering details about its fast charging capabilities through China’s 3C listing. Now, the smartphone has surfaced on the Geekbench platform. This highlights some of the key specifications and designs of the phone.

Benchmark scores of Moto X50 Ultra revealed

The Geekbench listing as spotted by MySmartPrice suggests that the model number of the phone will be XT2401-2. On Geekbench V6.2.0, the handset scores 1946 points in the single-core round and 5128 points in the multi-core round. The smartphone features 12GB of RAM and comes pre-installed with the Android 14 OS, along with the brand’s My UX custom skin. According to the motherboard section, it is compatible with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC (1 + 3 + 4 core configuration), codenamed ‘Walt’. The chipset boasts a peak clock speed of 3.01GHz and is accompanied by an Adreno GPU.

Moto X50 Ultra recently received 3C certification in China and this sees 125W fast charging support. The assembled adapter model number is: MC-1258 and supports 15W to 125W. Unlike the global model, the Chinese version offers dedicated AI features.

The TENAA listing for the smartphone revealed that the phone will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2712 X 1220 pixels. There will be a 4,500mAh battery (actually a 4365mAh cell). The phone will measure 161.0 x 72.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs 197 grams. The chipset will be paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512 GB/1 TB storage.

If the Moto X50 Ultra is indeed a rebrand of the Edge 50 Pro, it will come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP secondary lens, and a 64MP tertiary sensor and could have a 50MP front camera for selfies.
