Lenovo LOQ Technical Specifications and Features

The Lenovo LOQ series of laptops is intended for young gamers who may eventually desire to move to more powerful Lenovo Legion laptops and feel right at home. Lenovo is selling LOW laptops in 15-inch and 16-inch sizes with a 2,560 x 1,440 (WQHD) IPS display with 350nits peak brightness, anti-glare, 100% sRGB, 144Hz refresh rate, and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. In terms of audio, the laptops include dual 2W stereo speakers tuned by Nahimic Gaming Audio.

The laptop starts up with Windows 11 Home. Users can configure the Lenovo LOQ with 12th Gen Core i5, 13th Gen Core i7, and Ryzen 7 Octa-Core 7840HS CPU chipsets, depending on the model. Users can also choose from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 4050, or RTX 4060 GPUs.

The GPU in these laptops has been outfitted with a MUX switch, which allows the GPU to send data directly to the display rather than passing it through the CPU, lowering latency and enhancing frame rates. This is accomplished through the usage of NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology in the MUX switch. There’s also 115W Max TGP with Dynamic Boost for outstanding gaming and non-gaming performance.

The new gaming laptops include a full-sized 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with a 1.5mm travel distance for satisfying clickety feedback when gaming. Lenovo has also fitted the laptop with a LA AI chip, which drives the Lenovo AI Engine+, which manages thermals and adjusts wattage while gaming.

The Lenovo LOQ also has up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, a 1080p webcam, and other features. These laptops include a 60Wh battery that supports USB-C Charging at 140W PD. According to Lenovo, the laptop can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 6, HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0, USB 3.2, USB C, and more are available as connectivity choices.
