So, this is the OnePlus Watch 2’s release date and what to expect from it.

Launch date of the OnePlus Watch 2 (rumored)

The OnePlus Watch 2 will launch at MWC 2024, according to tipster Max Jambor, who has since updated his claim that the date will be February 26.

OnePlus, incidentally, posted the same teaser image to its community forum and requested comments from users on what they believed it to be. The drawback is that only incorrect responses are acknowledged. The OnePlus Watch 2 could launch on February 26 at 17:00 IST, which is the deadline for submissions, we assume. The forum page also states that entries may be sent from India, North America, and Europe, which are presumably the regions where the OnePlus Watch 2 will be sold.

The anticipated design and specifications of the OnePlus Watch 2

  • The circular dial of the OnePlus Watch 2 might have a protrusion on the right side. Leaked renders suggest that side may have two buttons. It has a distinctive look because of this protrusion.
  • There seems to be a speaker grille on the opposite side. There are sensors for monitoring different aspects of health on the base.
  • The bezel surrounding the watch face appears to be quite thick. Several digital and analog watch faces are available. It is stated that the 1.43-inch AMOLED type display.
  • In the renders, the surrounding frame has a lovely sheen. Regarding the materials used for the strap and body, we are unsure. The strap mechanism bears resemblance to the one found in Apple watches.
  • The Watch 2 was shown in light grey and black in the leak.
  • There might be a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC located underneath.
  • It is possible that it will inherit its predecessor’s GPS and 5ATM+ IP68 dust and water resistance.
  • Whether the watch comes with a custom WearOS or RTOS is a matter of some debate. On top of a potent chip like the Snapdragon previously mentioned, the former is illogical. When the watch is eventually unveiled, we will know this. Keep checking back!
