iQOO Z9 India launch is imminent and receives BIS certification.

As iQOO prepares to launch the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India in a few days, it appears that the company is also working on a few other products. One of them is the iQOO Z9, which will succeed the iQOO Z8. Check out the details.

iQOO Z9 5G receives BIS certification.

  • MySmartPrice reports that the upcoming iQOO phone has received BIS certification under the model number I2302.
  • The listing confirms that the phone will be released in India at some point.
  • As previously stated, the iQOO Z9 will succeed the iQOO Z8, which was limited to China and never made it to India.

The iQOO Z9 was previously spotted on the Bluetooth SIG listing, confirming Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and 5G network support. Tipster DigitalChatStation shared the alleged specifications for the iQOO 5G China variant.

The handset is expected to have a 1.5K OLED display, an upgrade from the iQOO Z8’s IPS LCD panel. The iQOO could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. In contrast, tipster Smart Pikachu claims the phone will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset.

DCS also suggests that the iQOO Z9 5G could have a 6,000mAh battery. We should learn more about the phone in the coming days. The alleged iQOO series renders first surfaced online in January. This revealed two large circular and square-shaped modules that housed dual-camera sensors. We also see curved edges and blue color.
