On December 27, iQOO will launch the iQOO Neo 9 smartphone series along with the company’s first-ever wristwatch. The iQOO Watch will run on the BlueOS operating system, just like the Vivo Watch 3, the company has now disclosed through a teaser. The Vivo Watch 3 was released in November. Furthermore, additional information regarding the smartwatch has been made public. What is known about the new iQOO Watch is as follows.

What we know so far about iQOO Watch

  • According to the poster, the smartwatch will have a sleek design with rounded edges and an action button.
  • The teaser also shows the smartwatch’s extensive health suite, which is expected to include a heart rate sensor, a blood SPO2 sensor, a calorie counter, and other standard smartwatch health sensors.
  • Because the iQOO Watch will run BlueOS, it is expected to include an app store similar to the one found in the Vivo Watch 3, allowing it to download third-party apps.
  • The iQOO Watch’s specifications have not been made public.

Specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 series

Along with the iQOO Watch, the highly anticipated iQOO Neo 9 series and iQOO TWS 1e will be available on December 27. The full spec sheet for the iQOO Neo 9 series has been leaked ahead of its release (you can find it here), and it is as follows:

  • Display: The iQOO Neo 9 Pro and Neo 9 will both have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800x1260p and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Neo 9, on the other hand, will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
  • Processor: The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset is confirmed to power the Pro model, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the vanilla model.
  • RAM and storage: Both phones will have 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, as well as 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
  • Cameras: According to reports, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will have a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. The smartphone will most likely have a 16MP front camera for selfies. The vanilla Neo 9 will have the same specs, with the exception of the ultra-wide sensor, which will be an 8MP sensor.
  • Battery and charging: It will have a 5,160mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging.
  • In China, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will run OriginOS 4, which is based on Android 14.
