Reports suggest that the Vivo Y38 5G is among the three phones that the brand is currently working on, alongside the Vivo Y03s and Vivo Y03t. The smartphone has already appeared on the Bluetooth SIG, CQC, and Geekbench websites. Now, gadgetzview has spotted the Vivo Y38 5G at IMDA and NCC certification centers. The latest image reveals the design of the phone.

Design and key specs of Vivo Y38 5G(leaked):

  • The model number of the Vivo Y38 5G is V2343, as seen in a previous report. IMDA and NCC certification centers have the same equipment.
  • The IMDA certification confirms that the Vivo Y38 5G will come with 5G and NFC support. The smartphone supports the following 5G Bands: n1, n3, n7, n8, n28, n38, n41 and n78.
  • However, the NCC certificate has images that reveal the design of the smartphone from all angles. The phone has a rounded edge with five holes. A USB Type-C port, headphone jack, and speaker grille are located at the bottom with a volume rocker and power button on the side.
  • The rear camera module features two sensors with LED flash and what appears to be Vivo’s ‘Aura Light’ ring, rounding out its design.
  • The NCC listing also suggests that the smartphone will pack a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
  • This is based on the battery number of the Vivo Y38’s charging adapter. The same was found in the Bluetooth SIG listing. The smartphone will come in two variants with 8GB RAM + 128GB and 256GB storage options with the option to expand up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

Geekbench spotted the Vivo Y38 5G powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, backed by 8GB of RAM. He scored 3092 marks in the single-origin test, and 7035 marks in the multiple-origin test. The smartphone will also run Android 14, according to the Geekbench listing.

Launch date of Vivo Y39 5G(rumored):

Vivo is expected to release the smartphone in May, although there is currently no reminder about it. The smartphone will most likely make its debut in China first before hitting other markets.
