After the launch of Vivo V30e in India, the smartphone brand unveiled the new Y-series smartphone in Taiwan. The all-new smartphone features a 6.68-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 50MP dual rear camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging technology, etc. Here are the features and other key details of the newly announced Vivo Y38 5G.

Storage and color options of Vivo Y38 5G

In Taiwan, Vivo has launched the Vivo Y38 5G in one storage variant – 8GB+256GB. However, the price of the Vivo smartphone has yet to be announced. We will update you when pricing is announced. Available in Dark Green and Ocean Blue colors.

Specifications of Vivo Y38 5G

The all-new smartphone features a 6.68-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. According to the company, the phone also has two stereo speakers, which weighs 199 grams.

The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It operates on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14.

As for the cameras, the newly announced Y38 5G features a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, an 8MP selfie shooter on the front, and a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging technology.

In terms of other features, the smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C port, IP64 splash and dust resistance, cameras, split-screen, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, VoLTE, and VoWi-1. Comes out, with Wi-Fi 5, and many others.
