It will be recalled that the iQoo Z6 5G was launched in India last year, and the new iQoo Z7 5G will be its successor. As for a new 5G smartphone under Rs. 20,000 this realistically promises top-tier performance and fantastic fast charging.

This one has a 6.38 inches full-HD+ AMOLED screen and comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate. iQOO Z5

iQOO Z5 Specifications
Display6.67-inch (1,080x2,400 pixels)
ProcessorQualcomm Snapdragon 778G
Front Camera16MP
Rear Camera64MP + 8MP + 2MP
RAM8GB, 12GB
Storage128GB, 256GB
Battery Capacity5000mAh
OSAndroid 11

The iQoo Z5 is launched at a higher starting price compared to the Z3 that it succeeds and other mid-range smartphones that dominate the market offer more competitive features. Though it has been upgraded and is less slippery, it is made of plastic materials.

It runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip which does well with mid-tier competing phones offering fairly smooth runs in gaming and other performance tests. The gadget boasts a 6,67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is appropriate for games, but the touch surface becomes smudgy very fast. There is a clear evolution in terms of the kind of speakers included; stereo speakers make a big difference when it comes to watching movies, or playing games.

Speaking of camera quality and performance, a rather rich set of tools and sensors adapts the Z5 for taking quite good pictures in daylight but fails to compete with mid-range smartphones that offer better image and video quality during the night.

Battery life is good, yet, the rates of charging might be a little average than expected. In general, experience with the Z5 does not make one think of this smartphone as a revolutionary implement marketed by Sony. They are minor, and so are the improvements that might be worth considering in its favor; yet, it is not so А at present, the competition is better even if it only costs a little bit more.
